The Nansen Nome Harness 5.0 is an ergonomically designed mushing harness that allows dogs the full freedom of movement. It has been designed to reduce strain when dogs are pulling to one side. A good harness is an essential tool for injury prevention and performance but also for your dog's comfort. This harness has been designed to be attached to a low pulling point so is perfectly suited for mushing but can also be used for joring sports. It is proven for use in sprint, middle, and long distance races. Musher Thomas Wærner used this harness on his dogs during his 2020 Iditarod win!
Nansen Nome Harness 5.0 is available in full-sizes (indicated by a blue end-rope) and half-sizes (indicated by a red end-rope). The half-sizes have the same back length as the corresponding full-size but with a larger neck circumference.

The Combined Harness is essentially a Freemotion harness with the addition of a removable pulka connector. This harness has batten reinforcement around the neck to evenly distrubute the forces on the dog while pulling heavy loads. The pulka connector (included) allows for easy attachment on and off the harness by durable plastic buckles. There is a removable girth strap that stops the harness from folding over the dog when making a swift stop or decrease in speed while pulling the weight of a pulka.
