The Ruffwear Knot-a-Leash is a rugged, climbing-inspired leash. Our classic design uses strong, supple kernmantle rope and a secure locking carabiner. Available in two rope/carabiner sizes: the standard 11 mm Large size or the packable, 7 mm Small size.

great design...locking carabiner ensures the leash never comes undone...the rope provides supple and comfortable grip when needed...the tubular webbing handle is comfortable and secure compared to the flat leash handle

Your leash is great. However, since I'm form the climbing communauty, I love your carabiner, but the problem is that this one is not swivel. When your dog is turning around you of playing a lot on leash, the rope get twistwed and that is a negative point from product developpement (scope of product). The rope size if great, beefy. For a rock climber and a mountain lover that is awesome. Biner is great but if you could develop a similar biner size and beeing swivel, I would have given 5 star to your product. Product developpement and prototyping is the key to success ! Cheers

It’s a great leash. I like the sporty look that dogs wear so well. The leash is also quite strong and comfortable to hold.

At first glance..it has everything going for it- nice colors..comfortable handle..and locking carabiner. The leash is very lightweight and it feels nice to hold it and it's aesthetic. That said..the leash is impractical. The locking carabiner is not attached to a swivel so the rope spins and gets stuck when the dog moves about. Also..the carabiner locking mechanism got stuck after several months of use and won't open. I wanted to love this leash and it really is so pretty and lightweight but it's not worth the pretty penny spent on it. I hope Ruffwear improves on it.

I bought the leash in size SM, in hindsight it might have been a little too small/narrow for my 6 month old Springer. Really good quality, feels really solid and safe. I would recommend getting the size Large if your dog tends to pull on leash, will save you from some rope burns.

Great leash. Wish the thicker one was in stock. The weight of the locker is perfect for my puppy, it doesn't bother him. handle is super comfortable, could be a little smaller though. the loop for poop bags is very subtle and useful. Length is perfect. Feels great in my hand.

Bought the same leash twice, did same breed; the bullmastiff. Tough & durable. Well made. 6 years on the first one still going looks pretty good. They retain their colour and don’t really fray.
