Get ready for high diving fun! This soft, floating disc was built for dogs that love to play fetch in or around water and snow. Pontoon-like construction allows the Hydro Plane™ to float high atop water and snow for easy visibility (for you and your dog!)

Soft on dogs' mouths and over-sized for easy pick up or an interactive game of tug-of-war.

Please note: All Ruffwear toys are interactive and intended for supervised play. They are not designed to be chew toys. Once the interactive play has finished, place the Ruffwear toy out of your dog's reach and replace with a designated chew toy.

This disc is one of Relic's favorite toys! we take it on the standup paddle board and love how easy it is to retrieve from the water! Sturdy too!

Small but mighty is the way to describe Henry. He is a Boston terrier who loves to retrieve this toy. Over and over…and over. He will choose this toy over any other and will actually sulk if you ask him to chase a ball. The disc is durable and lasts a long time. As long as we don’t let him chew at it that is. It also washes up well which is required on occasion.

This frisbee is super sturdy and durable, made with thick nylon and my Weim pup likes it a lot over the other brand which is flimsy. I got the medium size which is big enough for him to grab it and not too small. Ruffwear always make durable and long lasting items. I got their jacket, floating toy and collar!

What a great disk! Rede, a 12 lb Border Terrier, loves it in the snow. She has a medium and it's perfect for her to play with. Can't wait to try it at the beach this summer.

I was looking for a winter retrieval toy for Norman as all his other toys would sink in the snow. The Hydro Plane was a great solution. It sails quite level due to its design, is heavy enough that you can get some distance, yet not so heavy that it will go too far, and is light enough that it doesn't easily sink in the snow. If it did sink it is big and visible enough that it should be easy to find. The soft foam allows Norman to catch it without damaging his teeth and its stability keeps him from twisting while catching it, a major injury risk for dogs who catch frisbees. I bought two so he will drop the first at my feet to retrieve the other rather than using it to play tug-of-war, another of his favourite games. Great toy!

Roxie (my beautiful chocolate Labrador) and I like all things made by Ruffwear. Roxie has quite a selection of harnesses and leashes now but a new toy for her is the Ruffwear Hydro Plane. We chose this one because we can play with it in the snow and in the lake. It is lightweight, floats on snow and water and it just asks to be chased and wrestled with. We got the larger size and I think that was the right choice. We chose the bright teal blue and mustard so that it will be visible lying atop snow. Like all things Ruffwear, it looks to be strong and durable and should last a long time.

Our dog loves this frisbee. We purchased the M size, our dog is a mini aussie x springer spaniel and is 30lbs for reference. We've been playing with this since the summer and it's holding up really well. It's very wet out now with fall and as we go into winter, it gets very dirty with the mud, but it's easy to spray clean with a hose (I have not tried washing it in the washing machine). Floats really nice on the water, we've been using it to get our dog comfortable with swimming; also dries super quick. Our dog loves this frisbee more than the ball; a great investment, we don't go outdoors, parks, camping, lakes, etc. without it.

Ordered this "Hydro Plane disc" to replace one that did not last long from a different brand. Joni tends to give things a bit of a shake when she is retrieving. Joni, our two year old lab, is a water fanatic and loves to retrieve. Joni is not the best in the canoe unless she is very tired and so we use this disc to get her into the zen labrador mode....we know she is ready when her tail is too tired to wag... We love this disc and so does Joni. It is heavy enough that is flies true and far even in the wind. and of course it is high vis and floats. It also seems to be extremely durable and shake proof. I see many years of happy backcountry canoeing with a sleeping labrador, thanks to this new investment.

Mon grand chien adore car le Frisbee flotte bien autant pour de courtes distances (car il peut l’attraper) que pour le lancé éloigné (pour le faire courir). Il est très doux et ne lui fait pas mal quand il l’attrape. Et il flotte tellement bien!
